Dr Sullivan is committed to academic teaching and advanced training. He helps organize, collaborate and participates in local, national and international specialist educational activities and is involved in medical student and registrar teaching. Such collaboration and participation is valuable for enhancing interaction allowing for greater sharing of ideas and expertise plus the promotion of higher standards of dermatology care.

Dr. Sullivan and the Holdsworth House Research team are well established with a growing tradition of excellence. Our research unit has been operating for over 25 years and the experienced team are often first to recruit and have systems in place to assist with setting up trials expertly and efficiently. Our clinical research team also prides itself on maintaining its record of quality data, high standards of record keeping and rapid response times.
We operate on a regular basis as the lead site for regulatory submissions and associated requirements. Our independent status is a feature that sets us apart from most other research centers by allowing flexibility for rapid start up of trials, accelerated recruitment, and also efficient use of trial funds by avoiding high research consortium fees.
One of our strengths is the broad area of expertise our team have encompassing many specialties and overlapping clinical areas. This provides for specialist expertise and experience in many clinical therapeutic areas including:

We continue to expand these specialty areas and have recently welcomed Renal Medicine and Gynaeocology to our team. 
We have a dedicated laboratory and pharmacy facilities and our set up and experienced staff allows for Phase II, Phase III and Phase IV trials. We are equipped to conduct infusions, PK sampling, prolonged monitoring of patients and our experience caters for managing immune active and immunosuppressive therapies. 
We usually have between 30-40 active trials. We have been audited regularly due to our size by regulatory bodies including the FDA and EAMA. Our medical software and support has been chosen to ensure we comply with all regulatory requirements.
