Skin Cancer and Melanoma Screening

It’s important to have regular skin checks and screening as most skin cancers that are diagnosed and treated early can be cured.
No other organ can be examined so easily and effectively with appropriate training, experience; and the right technology and examination aids.

Dr. Sullivan and his team work to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients through early detection and diagnosis of skin cancer, as well as effective treatment.

The frequency of examinations is based on an individual’s risk profile (skin type, medical and family history), which can be assessed during your consultation.

Dermatoscopy or epiluminescent microscopy and mole monitoring can help enable lesion changes to be classified precisely to both assist with early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. This will also help to avoid unnecessary operations and biopsies.
