Dr Yvonne Nguyen – MBBS, MPhil (Med), BPharm (Hons), FACD.
Dr Yvonne Nguyen is a specialist consultant dermatologist and Fellow of The Australasian College of Dermatologists.
She completed her medical degree, a Master of Philosophy in Medicine, and a pharmacy degree at the University of Sydney.
Dr Nguyen completed her four-year dermatology training in Australia and the United Kingdom. She was selected to complete a Fellowship in London at the University College Hospital London. She also trained at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. These positions provided her with a wide breadth of knowledge in general medical and surgical dermatology.
Dr Nguyen has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
Dr Nguyen has been awarded several scholarships which have allowed her the opportunity to observe dermatology practice overseas including a rotation at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, USA and the National Hospital of Dermatology in Vietnam, and to attend courses overseas including a dermatology surgery course in Greece.
Dr Nguyen is highly skilled in both medical and surgical dermatology with special interests in skin cancer management, laser dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, acne, paediatric dermatology, and general dermatology, offering personalised and compassionate care to patients of all ages.
