Pre-Surgical Treatment and Skin Priming

Laser Pre-Treatment
- ALMA HYBRID Soft Lift 1570nm laser or CANDELA NORDLYS 1550 (or Photofrax combining vascular IPL and 1550nm laser) may be offered in the days leading up to surgery.
- This pre-treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production thereby improving the skin’s healing response.
Muscle Activity Management
- For surgeries involving areas with strong facial muscles (e.g., forehead), injections to reduce muscle activity may be recommended to prevent adverse effects on scar formation.

Treatment of Established Scars
