At Kingsway Dermatology and Aesthetics (KDAA), we provide comprehensive care for patients with suspected or biopsy-proven skin cancer or melanoma.
Our services include
- Surgical Excision: For complete removal of cancerous lesions.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: We work closely with Ramsay Surgical Miranda Day Surgery for multiple excisions or complex reconstructions, as well as with specialists in plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.
- Advanced Medical Management: Tailored to individual patient needs.
- Laser-Assisted Photodynamic Therapy (PDT): An advanced, non-invasive treatment option for early surface non-melanoma skin cancers.
We also place great importance on minimising any surgical related scarring
- We use a wide range of lasers, pre- and post-surgery, to reduce surgical scarring and improve cosmetic outcomes – feel free to raise this option with your dermatologist if you have any concerns about scars.
- Pre-treatment of surgical skin fields can reduce post-surgery scarring and your dermatologist may organise a pre-surgery field treatment around the lesion of concern.
- Early scar intervention post-surgery with vascular (CANDELA VBEAM), non-ablative fractional (ALMA HYBRID Soft Lift 1570, CANDELA NORDLYS 1550) or ablative lasers (ACCLARO ULTRACLEAR, ALMA HYBRID) can be initiated in the weeks and months after surgery.
